Sr. Business Analytics Analyst

Summary of Primary Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Vice President of Marketing, the Sr. Business Analytics Analyst will work with other Intuity departments (e.g., IT, Finance, Managed Markets, Sales and Customer Support Department) to identify strategic analytics to accelerate POGO Automatic growth, ensure data quality and improve the quality and speed to insights.

Position Description and Responsibilities:

  • Drive the development and creation of quantitative analysis, ad hoc reports, and models to support commercial decision making, particularly around lifetime value, retention, targeting, promotional mix optimization and forecasting
  • Advises business leaders by providing data-based strategic direction to identify and address business issues and opportunities
  • Manage the design, execution, and analysis of A/B or multivariate testing programs; building a testing culture and enhancing measurement capabilities
  • Experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Qlikview or similar preferred
  • Determine, analyze, maintain, and report on core commercial metrics to identify causal relationships between actions and outcomes
  • Experience in using BI tools to build real-time dashboards and reports for the organization
  • Utilize multiple data sources (Rx, retail and wholesale reports, internal ecommerce data) to generate such reports for internal and external use
  • The ability to translate data into actions and recommendations

Experience and Requirements:

  • 10+ years relevant experience with data analytics
  • Medical Device experience preferred
  • Experience with statistical analysis and modeling, e.g. significance testing, regression analysis, etc.
  • Experience with SQL, particularly with big data and BI tools

Minimum Education:

  • BA or BS in an analytical field such as statistics, management science, engineering, economics and math
  • 10+ years quantitative analytical or forecasting experience; or advanced degree in an analytical field such as statistics, management science, engineering, economics, math, etc. and 6+ years statistical analysis and/or quantitative experience.
  • MBA with a focus on healthcare and data analysis preferred

Minimum Experience:

  • 10+ years relevant experience with data analytics
  • Experience building and leading analytics and data science teams a plus
  • Consulting experience is a plus
